Privacy Policy

Short version: Zeepit only collects what's strictly necessary to work. No ad profile, no data sales, no hidden third-party trackers. Here are the details.

1. Who's the data controller?

Zeepit SAS, based in Paris, France. Contact: hello@zeepit.me. For France/EU users: you can write to privacy@zeepit.me with any GDPR question.

2. What data we collect

On your device

Your zeeps history (transformations), your preferences (language, default voice), your Pro purchases. It all stays local. If you uninstall the app, it's gone.

During cloud processing

For transformations that need our AI (summary, translation, Pro voice, long transcription), we send the content to our servers. The audio file or text is processed, the result comes back to you, and we delete everything right after (within 3 seconds).

Technical data

IP address (security logs, deleted within 7 days), app and OS version (for support), errors (Sentry, anonymized). No ads, no pixels.

3. What we do NOT collect

  • No account
  • No email to use the app
  • No phone number
  • No advertising tracking IDs
  • No contacts or calendar
  • No location
  • No browsing history

4. Where your data is stored

Servers in Europe (EU). No transfers to the United States.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Audio/text processed via cloud: 0 seconds after the result is sent back.
  • IP logs: 7 days.
  • Pro purchase history: legal accounting retention (10 years).
  • Anonymized errors: 30 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability. To exercise a right: privacy@zeepit.me, reply within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the CNIL.

7. Subprocessors

  • OpenAI — AI provider for transcription, summarization and voice. Handled under their Data Processing Addendum.
  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) — hosting.
  • Sentry — error monitoring, 30-day retention.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — payment. 100% handled by the store, we never see your card.

8. Changes to this policy

We'll let you know in the app and via notification of any material change.
